In this release, we’ve refined the Auto-Refresh feature to improve the user experience when accessing new content on websites.
The Auto-Refresh button allows participants to enable automatic redirection to the latest published article while viewing a website. When activated, users are taken directly to new content as it becomes available. If disabled, users see the new articles in the menu but need to manually navigate away from their current article to view them.
Improvements Made:
Renaming for Clarity: The "Auto-Refresh" button in the Browser Channel Configuration has been renamed to "Always Display Last Article" for better clarity.
Default Setting Change: The "Always Display Last Article" option is now toggled On by default, ensuring users are automatically directed to the latest content unless they choose to disable it.
We've enhanced the functionality of channels (Websites, Notifications, Media Pop-up, Email, and Twitter) and improved the way content is displayed during an exercise in mobile view.
Websites: A new mobile view has been introduced, improving navigation when multiple tabs are open. The layout of articles has also been optimized for better readability on mobile devices.
Emails: We've improved how email content is displayed and resolved formatting issues for better consistency on mobile.
Media Pop-up, Twitter "Add Media," and Notifications: Some pop-ups were previously disrupting or not aligning correctly with the screen layout in mobile view, making them difficult to use. These have been updated to respect the mobile layout, ensuring a smoother user experience.
You can now enable auto-refresh for websites. When the toggle is activated, participants will be automatically directed to the latest published article if they are on the website when new content becomes available. If the toggle is deactivated, the current behaviour remains: users will see new articles appear in the menu but will need to manually navigate away from the article they are viewing to access the new content.
The Air app now features a new default style, including updated channel icons that are ready to use.
Facebook Channel Spoof Engagement: Resolved an issue where spoof engagement was not functioning correctly on the Facebook channel.
Duplicated Injects: Fixed a bug where certain injects were being duplicated in specific environments.
