Using Multiple MELs allows you to design and manage independent MELs within the same scenario, running them in parallel during the exercise.
This is useful if you want to create two potential outcomes for your exercise, such as whether a ransom is paid or not. It provides flexibility to adjust the course of the exercise based on the players' actions
Create as many tabs as you need, it is a way for you to organise all of your injects and serials. Create new tabs by clicking the + button - ensure to give them titles.
If we leave the exercise like this, we would still have a single MEL, but the separate tabs would result in pauses within the MEL.
In each tab, you see a number. Click on this number to see the MultiMEL menu. There is one MEL by default, but you can create as many as you like.
Then, assign your desired tabs to each MEL.
If you have more than one tab assigned to one MEL, they will play in that order (left to right)
Create a reminder for the Facilitator to ensure they know when to initiate the next MEL. To send content to only the Facilitator you will need to create a position, see more on positions here.
Click Run Exercise to publish it and to view the MultiMEL in the Facilitator Dashboard. See more on managing MultiMELs here.
