GPS batch operations allows you to assign locations to a selection of personas. The Editor asks for a central GPS reference and a radius. It will then calculate random GPS coordinates within that radius and assign to the personas.
You can optionally additionally add a tag to the personas. In the example below, six personas are selected and are randomly distributed in San Francisco and given the tags "democrat" and "US_SF".
Such tagging and locating are useful for exercises that use InfoMap and Pulse.
To see the personas on a map, upload to your Space and use the Content > Persona Management feature.
GPS coordinates can be easily grabbed from Google Maps by right-clicking on the centre of the location you want and then clicking the coordinates. Clicking will copy the latitude and longitude into memory for pasting into the Editor field.
The tags you enter are applied to the selected personas.
Please make sure you hit enter after writing a tag and that the tag is displayed inside a box.
This operation will enable the checked social channels and disable the unchecked channels - when applied to the selected personas
The selected justification (left or right) is applied to the selected personas.
