⭐How can I customise the look of my exercise?

Personalising the platform is beneficial to add your look/feel onto the exercise.

Each component of your exercise can be customised to represent your brand. There are several key ways to do this, such as by:

• customising the virtual desktop channel icons

• customising the registration page

• personalising your personas voice

• requesting a bespoke URL

Customise the virtual desktop icons

The virtual desktop is what players will see and use during the exercise. You’ll be working in a realistic multi-channel environment meaning that communications can be published via multiple applications as it does in real life.

Navigate to Style > Virtual desktop, then click the channel you want to change on the left, and use the right-hand side to customise the image and name of the channel.

Customise the registration page

When players receive the URL, they will be taken to the registration page. Customising this page and making it distinct to you is an effective method to introduce the exercise and your business.

To personalise the registration page navigate to Style > Registration.

Here you have the option to customise: Cookies banner text, Privacy and data links, Background and logos, Video as a landing page, Login and registration pages, Mobile and desktop view - Password Reset options

Personalise your personas voice

When using AI to generate text from personas it is important to ensure that the text generated is realistic. To generate realistic AI content, give your players empathy scores and faction descriptions.

Empathy scores influence the emotional tone of the personas. You can modify empathy scores for the entire faction or at an individual level. To do it at an individual navigate to your persona > other attributes and change the empathy score via the scale where 3 is highly antagonistic and +3 is highly sympathetic.

Shape the overall tone of voice for personas in a faction by describing how these personas would communicate in Faction Description. To give a faction a description navigate to Personas > Manage factions > click on the space under the word 'Description'.

Customise the URL you share with your players so that it includes your company name or some distinctive idea associated with your approach to crisis exercises. To request a bespoke URL please contact your account manager.
