Personas as team members

There may be times when you would want a player to log in and impersonate a persona.

To accomplish this you'll need to do the following:

• Ensure that the persona’s email is the same as the participant's login.

• Ensure the facilitator can reset the password for the persona if they have a fictional email address.

Step 1 - Assign persona as a team member

First, enable the email channel for the persona and enter an email address (it is unlikely to be a real email address and more likely to be fictional).

Then click "Other attributes" and check the box "matches player login"

Step 2 - Add personas to the Team Table

Navigate to the Team Table to click to "Add personas". This will copy over all personas that"match player login".

Now set a password and allow it to be reset by the Facilitator.

Step 3 - Password resets when live on exercise

If you need or want to reset the player's password during the exercise, navigate to the player in the Facilitator Dashboard team table and click the icon (shown below) to generate a password reset link. This link can then be emailed or passed to the player outside of Conducttr so that they can reset their password and continue to log in.
