# Beliefs

Integrating beliefs into scenarios allows for the creation of **more nuanced and dynamic narrative environments**. This process not only saves time but also ensures that personas act in ways that are true to their constructed identities, enhancing the quality and realism of an exercise.

## How it works

To meet the growing expectation for personas to interact in uniquely realistic ways, and reflecting the principle that beliefs drive behaviours, we enhanced the Editor with *Beliefs, Goals*, and a *Knowledge Base*. These fields influence persona behaviour for AI generated content.

The diagram below shows how the Factions (North Londoners and Technologists) combine with the two beliefs to create audience segments that will have unique voices in the exercise.
