Emails help to create a more realistic exercise by simulating real-life email channels. Emails you send stay within the secure, private environment for your exercise. To understand how to navigate the email channel in the player view see here.
To create an inbox equivalent to an "all staff" email address allowing one participant to email all participants at the same time you can create a shared inbox.
To activate the shared inbox navigate to Style, channel configuration, locate email from the dropdown and create your own email address.
Once you have checked the checkbox "Activate shared inbox", you now have two options:
Decide if the shared inbox should be shared with everyone in the exercise (Session) or on a team-by-team basis (For team). "For team" means that each team has their own shared inbox.
Decide if all emails should be automatically sent to the shared inbox ("Send all to shared inbox") or if the player is required to add the shared inbox address to the CC: to To: fields of an email ("Require sender to add address")
Players in the virtual desktop will see the Shared Inbox if it has been enabled and an email has been delivered to it
Embed images into the body of text by using smartwords.
Begin by creating an inject and selecting the email channel.
Write the email as you usually would, and attach your media by clicking the 'Attach media' buttons at the bottom of the content box. Either attach the media using the AI assistant, selecting an image that is locally stored on your laptop or by pasting in a URL.
To insert the first image type {assets.1} and then {assets.2} to insert the second.
When it sizes the image, it is done by width. So if you need a small image, add a lot of white space to one side (or both if you need it in the middle).
