With the legacy editor, the concept of "collaboration" meant allowing someone to use your simulation space. That's not possible or necessary any more because we've moved to an organisational architecture and colleagues in your company that have been added to your organisation have their own space and access to the organisational licenced space.
With the new Editor, you're adding collaborators to a Project. This person can be outside your organisation and you're allowing access to the project, not the organisation's spaces.
At this time we offer only our first step in collaboration - being able to provide access to a project but not yet being able to work on it simultaneously. If you try to access a project that is being worked, you'll be told it's locked.
You can override the lock but the other person won't know until they try to save their last update.
Because exercises access assets owned by the parent project (such as media and personas), you can only add collaborators to a Project, not to a specific exercise. This means collaborators on a project will have access to all exercises in that project.
