GoSocial (Facebook/Linkedin)

GoSocial is a simulated social media channel, similar to Facebook or LinkedIn. It lets you create organization and personal pages where users can post and comment just like in real life.

What does GoSocial look like?

Customising the GoSocial page

To customise the look of the GoSocial page go to Configuration > Style > Player Desktop > Select GoSocial (Facebook / Linkedin) channel. You can now customise this on the right-hand panel

Consider customising the channel to simulate your company page, so you can rehearse how to manage comments and posts during a crisis.

Generating GoSocial content

Create GoSocial content in the MEL by adding an inject and selecting the GoSocial channel. Edit the metrics to include comments, likes, and shares on the post, and add actual comments in the 'Past comments' section.

Select where you want the post to appear:

• specific page: if you want the post to appear on a specific page click this drop-down and select the organisation

• independent post: if it is an independent post leave this dropdown blank
