# Checklist

The Checklist is a **customisable "to-do list"** created by the designer. The Checklist is accessible only to players with special permissions.

## Running

{% hint style="danger" %}
The designer of the exercise must create the Checklist and activate the channel for it to be available on an exercise.
{% endhint %}

Checklist permissions are usually given to the observer player. Combine with the After-Action Review (AAR) special permission to **allow observers to make comments on checked items**.

{% hint style="info" %}
To find out about AAR, visit the page below:

### Assign Checklist as special permission <a href="#assign-checklist-as-special-permission" id="assign-checklist-as-special-permission"></a>

Assign the Checklist special permission in `Teams` inside the Facilitator Dashboard:

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FFMxqvUZn91Khl8dhzcu8%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3De0d737f6-777a-4799-8e98-daeee1920f1f&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=829b0d3b&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Using the Checklist <a href="#using-the-checklist" id="using-the-checklist"></a>

Players with the Checklist special permission will see the Checklist channel appear as an icon on their desktop.

* To mark an objective as completed, click the checkbox
* To leave an AAR comment next to an objective, click the speech bubble and write your comment
  * A green speech bubble indicates a comment has been made

### Checklist & Exercise report <a href="#checklist-and-exercise-report" id="checklist-and-exercise-report"></a>

The checklist status of all players with access to the channel is presented in the AAR report. The AAR report can be downloaded from the Review tab.

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FOhTTaBRsX8vrfmIB04HB%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3De4662826-44f6-4cf0-93b8-191a5c892fea&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=cbb7986d&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Refer to the example below to see how Checklist and AAR comments are exported into an exercise report:

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FcIvvW30t0kGQ2fdf1eNW%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3D73db9e74-1a87-4471-ac63-e802f95c5159&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=b2fee768&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Moderators will be able to see the checklist status of all designated players when they export the AAR report.
