# Personas
Personas are the **digital entities** that represent people and organisations.
**Players are human**, personas are not.
Players with the right permissions can **impersonate** personas and respond as a persona in the exercise.
Players who log in with the same email address as a persona can impersonate that persona without assigning any additional permissions.
