Schedule your cyber-attack in the Master Events List to coincide with your injects

Hacking a website is a powerful method to demonstrate a crisis to your players. Hacking a website takes three steps:

1. select your 'hacked' website style

2. create a 'hacked' inject

3. draw attention to your hacked website

1. Select a hacked image

Navigate to the persona that you wish to hack. Then, go to Website and Display options. Make sure to use an article-type website, which allows you to customise the page's appearance to create the illusion of it being hacked. Then, choose your hacked website style.

The first hacked style is automatically selected unless you change it manually.

2. Create a 'hacked' inject

Create an inject, selecting the persona you wish to hack. For the channel, select the Website/News channel and click Action from the drop down. After selecting action you will have the option to hack the website via the toggle switch:

3. Draw attention to your hacked website (optional)

After hacking your website, a flashing red dot will appear on the Website/News channel. To ensure your players don't miss it, you can send an additional alert to draw further attention.
