Facilitation
How to design with Facilitation in mind
A key benefit of using Conducttr is that knowledge can be captured in an exercise and it can be run by more junior or less experienced staff. However, to do this you need to provide adequate guidance.
Label MELs and Serials
Ensure that all MELs and Serials have been labelled. Do this by double-clicking on the MEL or Serial tab:

This makes referring to different MELs and Serials much easier.
Add Facilitator guidance to injects
Within each inject is a section called Facilitator guidance. Here you can title injects and add any important information in the text box, as well as attaching PDFs, images and video if necessary.
In the example below, the designer has used Facilitator guidance to prompt the Facilitator to manage positions at the beginning of the exercise:

Here's what that Facilitator guidance looks like from the Facilitator's perspective in the Facilitator Dashboard:

Create a Facilitator Position
Creating a Facilitator position allows designers to send specific notifications to the Facilitator throughout the exercise.
Prompt Facilitators with the notification channel
At an EXCON decision point in the exercise, send a notification to the Facilitator position to prompt them to make decisions based on player behaviour and choices.
This might include advice to:
start and stop different PoL stax (can be a form of branching)
move to a different MEL (can be a form of branching)
speed up or slow down the exercise
encourage moments of player discussion

These decisions can either be informed by player discussion/engagement or based on data in the Review tab of the Facilitator Dashboard.
