# September

**September 19, 2026**

### What's in this release

This release is focused predominantly on smaller improvements and fixes. However it also includes a set of keyboard shortcuts for the Exercise Editor and upgrades to Msngr Plus.

### Keyboard Shortcuts

A first set of keyboard shortcuts has been added to the Exercise Editor, covering the most common pages and tasks.

Keyboard shortcuts improve productivity for frequent users.

### Msngr Plus Improvements

This release has the following upgrades...

**In Editor**

* **Clearer "Send To" options in Editor** - The "Send To" dropdown in the Editor now labels Msngr Plus destinations more clearly: Groups and Conditional Groups are labelled by channel and appear with matching channel icons, and both are marked with a "Private message" suffix where relevant.
* **"Publish to player" now works for Team & Superteam injects** - When an inject addressed to a Team or Superteam is published to a player, it's now delivered based to the inject destination: straight to the player in session-based exercises, or to the team's general channel in team-based exercises.

**In Virtual Desktop**

* **Chat input alignment and layout polish**
* **Audio messages can now be uploaded and played** - Players can now upload and play audio files in Msngr Plus. MP3 is the supported format.
* **Cancel button added when creating a group** - When creating a new group in Msngr Plus, you can now click cancel.

**In Facilitator Dashboard**

* **Correct group name shown in Review Tab** - The Review Tab in the Facilitator Dashboard now displays the custom name of a group (e.g. a renamed "General" feed) instead of the default label, so you can accurately see which group each message was sent to.

### Auto-Scrolling Improvements

Msngr and Msngr Plus channels now auto-scroll to new messages as they arrive, and no longer reset to the first message when navigating back into a channel. If you've scrolled up in the history, a "New messages" indicator appears at the bottom of the chat - click it to jump straight to the latest message.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/release-notes/2026/september-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
