What’s New in This Release

Colibri is here!

Our biggest addition in this release is Colibri, a new editor that transforms policies into short, interactive microsimulations designed for everyday readiness at scale. Because Colibri is for self-paced exercises (rather than team exercises), Colibri has its own dedicated release page with full details, examples, and guidance.

New Features

Default Website Header

Available for: All licences

What’s New Conducttr now provides a Default Website Header that is automatically applied to all newly created exercise websites. This header provides a clean, consistent, professionally branded layout without requiring designers to build image headers from scratch. It inherits the persona’s profile image (i.e the organisation's logo), supports localisation, and allows optional colour adjustment to match the persona or exercise theme.

⚙ How It Works
  • Every new exercise website receives a default static header.

  • The header pulls in the persona’s profile image (1:1) and places it in the layout automatically.

  • Websites are only available for Organisation personas, so this image will typically be an organisation logo or brand visual.

  • Designers can edit predefined text fields to customise labels or adapt wording for multilingual scenarios.

  • Background colour is editable to align with branding or style of the exercise.

  • The header is static, no clickable elements or navigation links.

  • Designers who want full control can opt out and create their own custom header instead.

Use Case Example

A training team needs to publish multiple websites for a crisis exercise across several countries. Previously, each header had to be created manually, which in some cases is more work than desired.

With the Default Header:

  • Designers get a ready-to-use layout instantly.

  • The persona’s image and key labels are already in place.

  • Localising the header text for Portuguese, Spanish, or English takes seconds.

  • Branding stays consistent across all versions, even with minimal customisation.

Improvements to Existing Features

Exercise Editor

Helpdesk email visibility now respects channel settings.

If the Helpdesk channel is disabled for an exercise, the support email is no longer shown in the autosuggest list or contact list. This keeps the communication options aligned with your exercise setup.

Diagram channel now has ability to hide magnification controls

A new option lets you hide the zoom in/out icons for participants, allowing a cleaner diagram area.

Better handling of websites without past articles.

Websites with no past content are now greyed out/disabled when selecting “Open website from start.” A red warning explains why the site can’t be enabled. These websites are now also hidden in the “Order Tab,” and won’t open until the first content is published.

Bulk enable/disable for Msngr Plus Accounts.

You can now enable or disable Msngr Plus Accounts in bulk when making persona updates, making setup much faster for large exercises.

Search & Replace now shows match count.

We now display how many results matched your search, making it easier to track changes and verify updates.

Restrict player ability to edit registration details.

A new registration option allows you to prevent players from changing personal details (e.g., their name) after the exercise begins.

Improved Smartword visibility.

The Smartwords Library now shows a circle with a tick for Smartwords being used in the MEL or PoL.

New “Add Position” shortcut in Persona Permissions.

You can add a new position directly while configuring persona permissions, no need to jump between panels.

Faster member management in Msngr Plus Groups.

A search field allows quick member lookup, and you can now add more than one persona to a group at the same time.

Editor & Virtual Desktop

A few updates have been added for better use in the space domain

Space weather assistant

There's now a Space Weather assistant in SideKick that will generate technical space weather reports - just tell it what impact you want to see on earth or in space and it'll generate credible reports for email delivery. You can also ask it for non-technical press reports and tweets from experts.

GPS action improvement

The GPS action in the Editor now timestamps each movement to ensure content published matches the correct past (and present) location. This is useful for OSINT satellite updates as shown below. A KML file of the satellite's path has been added and when the injects play from the MEL the images are published at that location in the satellite's orbit.

Facilitator Dashboard

CSV exports now preserve long replies.

Reports no longer truncate long responses, ensuring facilitators get complete data for debriefing and analysis.

Clearer MEL status indicators.

MELs that are paused now show a grey dot instead of green, making it easier to distinguish active vs. paused MELs at a glance.

Improved Likes/Reposts UI in Microblog.

Engagement icons on Microblog have been reduced in size and extra whitespace added for a more attractive look.

Performance Improvements

It's now faster to upload a teams table to your simulation space.

Bug fixes

Various bugs have been resolved across the platform.
