# Superteams

Use Superteams (teams of teams) to **publish content to multiple teams at once**. This makes large multi-organisation exercises faster to build and easier to run.

A team can belong to multiple Superteams, but a player can belong to only one team.

## Running

Data downloads and reports will only show the player’s team and not Superteams.

:zap:If you require the ability to move, add, or delete teams from Superteams live during an exercise, ensure Superteams is activated in the Editor under `Configuration` > `Facilitator Dashboard` > `Superteams`.

In the Facilitator Dashboard, navigate to the `Superteams` tab to make any necessary edits. Click any team card to add or remove it from a Superteam.&#x20;

E.g. you might want to create a new Superteam during an exercise when using different reaction Pattern of Life stax, dependent on player actions.

### Pattern of Life (PoL)

As Superteams are a collection of teams, where you have a large collection, there might be a minor delay in content arrival between the first person in the first team and the last person in the last team.&#x20;

To send a PoL stax to a Superteam, navigate to the `PoL` tab in your Facilitator Dashboard and click `Edit`. Then open the *Session* drop-down to see a list of teams and Superteams.

:zap:If a PoL stack is running when you update a Superteam, the stack will continue using the previous configuration. Stop the PoL stack before making changes, then restart it once your Superteam is updated.

### Creating Superteams

#### In the Editor, navigate to `Configuration` > `Superteams`&#x20;

Then click `Add superteam`.

#### Create a new Superteam and name it

You can also edit the tag colour which helps to organise your Superteams.

#### Add the teams you want to include

Check or uncheck the team boxes to add and remove teams from Superteams.

Using the colour-coded tags, you can see at a glance which teams are members of different Superteams.

:zap:Take care not to add the same team to multiple Superteams that receive the same content. This will result in that content being published to players in the overlapping team more than once.

### Bulk import

To import Superteams in bulk, use the template above. The setup is as follows:

* Column A is the team name
* Column B onwards are Superteam names (one Superteam per column)
* A cell containing X (or any non-empty value) indicates that team is a member of that Superteam
* An empty cell means the team is not a member
* Underneath the teams you can pre-set a colour

### Publishing to Superteams

#### MEL

Select a Superteam from the *To* drop-down when creating an inject. This means all teams assigned under the Superteam will receive the inject.

E.g. all participants in the NordBank, Vantage Capital, and Solaris Finance teams will receive this email inject:

#### PoL

Generate your stax as usual in the Editor.

To publish PoL stax to Superteams, the Facilitator will need to assign stax to Superteams from the Facilitator Dashboard during the exercise.
