# Persona briefs - examples

A "persona brief" is the seed used by the AI to generate a cognitive model for your persona. You can be as precise or as open as you wish but it probably depends on the importance of the persona's role in the exercise how much detail you want to include.

The detailed structure is something like:

`[Organisation/person], from [Place] who [core role and responsibilities], works with [stakeholders], believes [worldview/beliefs], aims to [goals], concerned about [risks/fears], communicates in a [style/tone] manner`

For example:

> *John Wishbone is a rock guitarist from Dartford, Kent and plays in the band The Leather Boys. He believes in love and peace and aims to make as much money as possible while the band is hot. He worries that pubs aren't paying the performing rights agency the money his songs ought to be receiving. He communicates in an indirect style with London 1970s slang.*

If, however, you have a minor character, you might write

> Sally is a single mum from Salford, near Manchester and is worried that her son Stephen didn't return home and wants the police to find him
