# Pop Up Channels

The pop up channels are so called because they interrupt normal activity by popping up on the player's desktop over the top of other channels.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The caption channel isn't a pop-up but it's always visible in the virtual desktop side-bar
{% endhint %}
