Microblog mimics popular services such as Twitter/X. You have the functionality to create past posts, new posts, persona and company profile accounts, and to comment, retweet, and like etc.
Customise to mirror a realistic social media space
Full control over content shown and conversations had
Players can rehearse responding to and dealing with real-time social media feeds as you would in real life
Each persona has their own profile page with simulated number of followers, following and published posts
Simulated account creation date and simulated geo-tag
Each team can have their own MicroBlog universe or teams can share the same universe
Publish content live and amplify by "retweeting", quoting posts, or by pinning them
Track and engage with trending topics by following hashtag feeds
Remove unwanted or outdated content from your timeline by deleting tweets

Interacting with tweets
Use the buttons below a tweet to like, comment and repost
Compose a new tweet by typing in the "What’s going on?” section
To reply to a tweet, click the speech bubble icon located below the tweet you'd like to respond to
Media files such as images can be included in new tweets and responses

Searching for tweets/users
Use the search option to look for words or people in the feed:

Schedule tweets
Click the calendar icon to schedule tweets in advance. Click again and navigate to Scheduled messages to delete tweets before they're published.


View hashtag feeds
Click on any hashtag so the feed is filtered and you can see related tweets:

Delete tweets
Click on the three dot icon in any of your posts to delete tweets:

How to (Customisation)
To customise a persona MicroBlog channel, in the Scenario Editor navigate to Personas > select the persona > open the MicroBlog tab. Here you will have the ability to customise basic attributes:

Basic attributes
Name
Name that will be displayed
Handle
The persona's username for this channel
Bio
Short description that will be displayed on the profile page
Header image
Upload a custom image for the profile header (1500px x 500px)
Historical content (past posts)
Tweets that will already be published on that profile before the exercise starts. Can be generated using our AI assistant/imported from a .csv file and have media attached
Further details (optional)
Verified
Is the account verified? (displays blue tick)
Metrics
Total number of followers, following and published tweets of that profile
Creation date
When the account was created (to trace the account's credibility)
Website
Insert a URL in the box, and link the URL to a website via the drop-down
How to (Injects)
Send content via Master Events List (MEL)
To send content via the MEL, add an inject and select the MicroBlog channel. Here you have the option to:
Customise the tweet text
Attach media attachments
Influence tweet metrics (retweets, likes and comments)
Add comments to this tweet via the
Past commentstab
Save time writing your tweet by using the AI Assistant.
