# GoSocial (Facebook)

GoSocial is a simulated social media channel, similar to **Facebook**. It lets you create organisation and personal pages where users can post and comment just like in real life.

### Groups: Player actions <a href="#groups-player-actions" id="groups-player-actions"></a>

#### Search group

Players can only find a group if they search for it in the GoSocial channel search bar:

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FAmtgGmogDndCMGpDLTLp%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3D1d43be62-c8bc-4459-9afc-7de9a998a4cd&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=c9294965&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Join groups

Once players have searched for and found a group they can join by clicking `Join group` :

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FXwOZ7p4zPOZJE4y6rca0%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3Dc5af2113-5fc9-432f-a0ec-9e4fab8efe9f&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=90521bb4&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Initially it will appear as a pending request until the group creator or moderator accepts the request.

* Post text and images
* Like and comment on posts

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FfQG9Jnm6VarYSjX9O1CD%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3Da97c3c34-ec93-4d1e-9d86-975600023262&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=3b8eddf8&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Moderator mode

#### Posting

In the GoSocial channel, you will see a box at the top of the screen that allows you to `Create post`. Here you have the option to include text as well as an image:

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FoOgFS8veOjf13p5lA5T0%252Fimage.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3Dca54d74d-093d-4279-83b1-6f5b6a70bc4a&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=12744e3&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://helpdocs.conducttr.com/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3476309720-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FsNKxYbIPgfYmCR9EJgAu%252Fuploads%252FV6vFQYXgfelsnRFoXixw%252Fgosocial%2520styling.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3Dc15270ea-112e-42a7-9753-535828d1c71d&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=2bfa4802&#x26;sv=2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Select where you want the post to appear:

* **Specific page:** if you want the post to appear on a specific page click this drop-down and select the organisation
* **Independent post:** if it is an independent post leave this dropdown blank
