The Phone call channel is a rich media pop-up that **simulates an incoming phone call**.

### How to (Injects)
Create an inject as normal, choose your persona etc. and attach/drag and drop an audio file.
#### Receiving a voicemail
Players have the ability to reject calls and not listen to them. They also may struggle to remember the call after it's finished. To counter this, you might consider adding **a voicemail channel in the form of saving the audio file to the Portal (Drive) channel**.

The images below show different approaches to recording the call:
**Option 1:** A dedicated channel (Portal) has been created called *Voicemail*
**Option 2:** A persona called *Call recorder* has been created and publishes to a regular channel
### How to (Configuration)
Go to `Configuration` *>* `Player Desktop` *>* `Phone Calls` .
Here you can edit the background, Phone image, the accept and reject buttons and the logo:
Adding a phone background image makes the player experience more enticing:
### FAQs Can I use text-to-speech, or do I need to upload an audio file?
You can upload an audio file directly from your external files.
If you want to use a text-to-speech functionality, we recommend you use Can I track players interactions with player calls?
You can review player activity live within the facilitator dashboard by selecting the `Review` tab **>** `Review` **>** `Player Activity`.
Alternatively, you can export a report to see player activity after the exercise.
