# How do I turn the notification sound off?

In Conducttr, new content is signalled by a notification sound and red flashing dot in the corresponding channel. 

If you want to turn the notification sound off (but still keep the visual indicator) navigate to `Configuration` > `Channels` in the Editor and set the toggle to *No sound:*
